Always & Forever Books wants every family, teacher and reader to be able to use this website, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Text is sized to be readable on phones, and the site works when zoomed to 200%.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap on a phone.
- Form fields are clearly labelled, and required fields are marked.
- Each page has one main heading.
- We check how the site works on phones, tablets and computers, most recently in October 2026.
Accessibility tool
The accessibility button on every page (provided by UserWay) lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, highlight links, pause animations and change other display settings. Your choices are remembered in your browser.
Known limitations
- On the Forever Forest Series page and parts of the home page, book covers and article pictures do not yet have text descriptions for screen readers. The book titles are always shown as text next to them.
- The free colouring pages on the Downloads page are pictures, so their drawings cannot be described in full by a screen reader.
- The “Sneak Peek” book previews and the reviews slider may be harder to use with a screen reader or keyboard.
- Some decorative headings in the page footer are not in strict order.
We are working on these. If any part of the site is hard for you to use, please let us know and we will help you get what you need another way.
Tell us about a problem
Please write to us through the Contact page and tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply as soon as we can.
