Hello, everyone!
I’m excited to share some wonderful news with you. On November 17, I’ll be taking part in the 2023 Holiday in the Park, a fantastic event that marks the beginning of the holiday season right here in Burbank’s charming Magnolia Park. This holiday street festival spans an impressive 9 blocks and 3 parking lots, boasting over 100 exhibitors and artists who are all coming together to create a truly magical experience.
You can find me at this joyful celebration, ready to meet and greet all of you. I might even share a few captivating readings from my beloved children’s books with the kids. It’s a perfect opportunity for us to connect and share the enchantment of storytelling.
But that’s just the beginning! Holiday in the Park has so much more to offer. From a vintage car show to live music, a holiday boutique, and an art fair, there’s something for everyone. Kids will have a blast in the kids’ fun zone, and don’t forget the chance to snap photos with Santa and some beloved characters.
As you stroll along Magnolia Blvd., you’ll have the chance to savor delicious meals at local restaurants and explore the offerings of food trucks along the boulevard. Community organizations and Magnolia Park businesses will also have tables in the street, adding to the sense of community and celebration.
Last year’s event was a huge success, with an estimated 45,000 attendees throughout the night. It’s heartwarming to see families come together, support small businesses, and enjoy this festive gathering.
The event includes a classic car show sponsored by the Burbank Road Kings, an art fair in the parking lot of Blast from the Past, a music stage in the Bank of America parking lot sponsored by Elevate Burbank, and a family fun zone sponsored by South Hills Church featuring rides, games, crafts, and more. Plus, with over 25 food trucks and complimentary treats from vendors, there’s no shortage of delights to savor.
