Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for my children.  I blinked and now, my children are having children.  Investing my whole life in them was, for me, the best decision I ever made.  As I look back on my life I can honestly say, the time of my deepest joy was time spent with them.  It still is in fact.

I am also so thankful for my husband, soul mate, and truly the love of my life.  We are as one… and when the kids call, we drop everything to be with them.  They really do make us feel so young again.  Our passion for life blossoms like teenagers when they say… “Lets get together” or “Happy Tuesday”, lol.

Our grandchildren delight us beyond measure.  When they smile and say, “I love vous” (yes, one of them apparently thinks he’s French) papa” or “read to me Bubby” (aka, bubinator, bubcicle, grandma, etc.) we melt.  It’s crazy how brilliant we are again, just basking in their light.  Children are amazing.  I never want to grow up.  Thankfully they say as we grow older, we become more childlike.  I’m going to play like a child does if the good Lord allows me to.

So, journey with me and see life through the clearest, most endearing eyes in the world.  Here’s how my grandson Wyatt figures out life…  I was reading a fortune cookie the other day which said: “good fortune will come from an unexpected source.”  Wy-man looked at me and said… “Like a bronta-source?”  A-MAZING!
